Cameron who served us was friendly & helpful with our orders. Perfect balance of fabulous customer service, a credit to this wonderful chippy. Definitely our go to chip shop in Bridlington. Thanks very much 5* plus

Oh, my Cod! This has got to be my favourite fish and chips when in Yorkshire. I'm hooked. Best fish and chips in Yorkshire, second to none imho. It has a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff, great sea views and delicious food. Reasonably priced also. Lovely Plaice to visit after a nice walk on the beach or around the town. Take a perch and watch the world go by as you dive into a generous portion of a freshly cooked local delicacy. You can tell they care about sourcing and using only fresh produce. Not only that but ensuring the customers are content, happy and full. The times I have visited, the food has always been cooked to order so you know it will be good as you eagerly wait with a watering mouth. Well worth the wait and I much prefer this to those that choose to cook en-masse when it's busy - resulting in a sorry-looking neglected welp of a thing, unlovingly chucked into a box or put on a plate to get as many people through the door. It is clear that The Naked Fish only use pristine oil in the fryers and this gives the batter the perfect consistency, texture and flavour to complement the flaky goodness of the North Sea fish. The quintessential British treat when at the seaside. Being a huge fan of fish and chips it is not just about the actual dish. It is the whole experience that ignites a nostalgia for me of a simpler time as a child when I did not have a job, mortgage or any responsibilities. Just the simple enjoyment of a sunny day trip to the beach with family. It is the papery rustle of the chips, the exquisite explosive crunch of the crisp batter, the little puff of steam biting into that fillet of cod or haddock that escapes as you break through the batter for the first time, the slippery flakes of delectable white fish slipping between your fingers and into your mouth, the tang of the vinegar, the rasp the of salt, the gloss of fat on the lips. Utterly heavenly. If I was Shellfish I would keep this place a secret but that is not fair. I cannot recommend The Naked Fish in Bridlington highly enough.

First ever time here, very friendly service as soon as you walk in before even ordering.. couldn’t believe when the food came out and these portions were regular which for the fish included 2 and chips and as you can see more the 2 large sausage and chips were also classed as regular! Definitely recommend however make sure you’re hungry!

We visit Naked fish in very busy weekend, town was overloaded and guys suggested that waiting time is 20min. Ordered 2 small fish and chips, 1 regular and 1 jumbo. Food was served before we even started to drink, quick and lovely served. Very friendly man brought our plates with cheeky smile, upgraded small portions to regular and when brought jumbo portion wished us good luck, lol they really have to warn when ordering... jumbo fish included 3!!! regular pieces of fish just for 19. Luckily they had take away boxes :) so we had lunch and diner. Butter is really amazing, crispy and not overcooked, fish is nice and moist. Tartare sauce just melting. If we will be around again will definitely eat then again! Also place have a lovely view of harbour and plenty of sitting area. Thank you guys, you doing well

Excellent value - 35 for a sharing plate of two whole, local, lobsters, chips and salad. Fish and chips look good too - chips were very, very good. We sat in, the dog was welcome too. Very highly recommended.

Visited for the first time today late afternoon with my mum. Simply the best traditional fish and chips ever, very tasty, cooked to perfection by Merlin and Russ! A very welcoming and dog friendly establishment, a lovely atmosphere with a great variety of fish on the menu, offering both takeaway or dine in within an area which has a fabulous view of the harbour! Excellent customer service. Highly recommend, will be my go to for fish and chips in Bridlington! Extremely satisfied! Thank you!

My son recommend this seafood restaurant to us so we took the plunge and went and we were not disappointed . The interior is basic and the view overlooks the harbour so it’s not too bad, but we were here for the food and that made up for the slightly underwhelming restaurant . Don’t get me wrong it was clean but basic. We ordered 2x cod and 2xhaddock all with chips and our granddaughter had home made fish goujons beans and chips. There was a slight wait but all the items were cooked freshly and the portions were very good. I would have no hesitation in recommending Naked fish if you are in the bridlington area.

Visited there today, I have to say the fish and chips are superb, the freshness and quality is excellent. Lovely crispy chips and friendly service. One thing I should mention is the portion sizes, they are very generous, believe it or not the picture shows just a regular portion size. The jumbo must be a leviathan. If you’re reading this then just go, it’s head and shoulders above the others.
